Ramoji Film City - Nov 2008

Hi, I had a chance to go to Ramoji Film City (RFC) Hyderabad on 22nd Nov 2008. Photography is my passion. The only objective to go there was to take few meaningful snaps and blog them here so that it becomes a guideline for them who want to visit that place.
The giant film city entrance :

The Royal Travels (a bit expensive and luxrious) : If you connect with Royal Travels they can give u a good tour inside the Film City.

I want to mention here that visiting RFC is a bit expensive but it is worth seeing once (ONLY).It is Rs 400/- per head and additional expense of around Rs 125/- for food. It will be good if you are in a group. There is entertainment for kids too. You have good film sets resembling Western cities, streets and Indian villages. There will be open window buses arranged for site-seeing inside the Ramoji film city. Each bus will have a separate narrator or as you can say a tourist guide to guide you through out the bus trip inside the film city. (This ride will be free). They have different entertainment programs happening round the year and specially during New Year time. There is a juggling show, a variety show, a scary cave etc. There will also be a western stund with lots of fighting and shooting which you would definitely like. Lastly, you will be shown how a film is made taking example of the famous Bollywood film SHOLEY with "Basantee's Tanga being chased by Gabbar Sing's goondas".

Rambo : Just a statue

The old car : Masterpiece

Clean and Green (many films have ben shooted here)

Kids Paradise : They would definitely like this

The Buddha's Statues

Nice Restaurant : At lunch time do not forget to visit this pure vegetarian restaurant
